2008 Master's Tournament

The 24th Annual Master's Tournament was held at Westwood Lanes on Monday, May 5th & May 6th. There were 120 bowlers that were present to meet the challenge of becoming the Master's Champion. After Monday night the field was cut to 32 bowlers that came back Tuesday evening to continue the battle to be Champion. After several matches the field was paired down to the final two competitors, Mike Shockey and Greg Smith who  battled for the championship with Mike Shockey taking the title. 2008 Women's Handicap Open

The 11th Annual Women's Handicap Open was contested on May 7th & May 8th at Village Bowl. There were 41 bowlers that competed in this very special formatted tournament. The field was cut to 16 after the first night with those top 16 qualifiers returning Thursday to compete for the title of Women's Open Champion. After a few matches the final four woman remained to bowl in a T.V. style format for the title. The final four bowlers had VERY similar handicaps which made for an extremely competitive match. Sue Schlink defeated Sharon Bendele in the final match to claim the Championship for the 2008 tournament. This tournament is completed different then any other tournament in the general area and several of the bowlers this year were new. We hope that everyone had a great time and will challenge themselves again next year. Listed below is the final prize listing. 

2008 Funfest Tournament

The 2008 Funfest Tournament was held on April 5th & 6th at Wayne Recreation and a great time was had by all. There was good food, good music, good bowling and good beverages!! Thanks to all those that worked the tournament and Wayne Recreation for their hospitality. There were 195 couples entered this year and listed below are the results. Congratulations to all.

2008 Women's City Tournament

The Women's City Tournament is done for another year and thanks goes to all that participated and all that won an event, you are now an official Ft. Wayne USBC WBA City Champion. Congratulations!
