WELCOME TO FORT WAYNE BOWLING
Fort Wayne USBC BA
The Fort Wayne USBC BA was organized and sanctioned by the
ABC in 1907. The first officers saw an opportunity to
begin an organization supporting the game of ten pins which also
stressed the values of character, tradition, integrity and
heritage. The association has thrived by the hard work and
support of the many volunteers bowlers, and proprietors.
Fort Wayne USBC WBA
The Fort Wayne USBC WBA was organized and sanctioned by WIBC
in 1920. The first officers of the Association believed in
the standards that were set forth by WIBC. An
organization that stood for tradition friendship, fun,
competition, leadership and success. In 2005 the WIBC
joined with ABC to form the USBC (United States Bowling
Congress) and today women bowlers can still proudly call USBC
and Fort Wayne USBC WBA "My Organization".

BOWLERS.... Women's City Tournament is right around the
corner. This year's competition will be at Georgetown Bowl
during the month of February. Again the Women's board has been
divided up by blind draw to have three teams competing against
each other the last day, last shift of team event.
This competition is for ALL
THE BRAGGING rights on the board for the next year. BUT the real
focus as always is the support that we wish to get for the
Northeast Indiana Chapter of the Susan Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation. The bowlers support in year's past has been GREAT
and we hope that it will continue this year. Whether you are
bowling in the tournament or bowling in a league all board
members will be eager to collect your donation during the month
of February.
Additionally, during the
tournament we have a 700 Doubles Virtual Tournament running
during the team event. A 700 series bowler can pair with a
non-700 series bowler to combine their scores and handicap for a
special prize list. Entry fee is $5.00 per person and entries
will be accepted until FEBRUARY 4, 2012 at 11:59am. Deliver
entries to the Association Manager. The following listing are
those women bowlers that have achieved a 700 series somewhere in
their bowling career. 700
series listing
City Tournament results
each week are listed on the Calendar Page. All results are
unofficial until average verifications are received at the
office.
Don't forget if you need a
bowler's average from the past two years you can go to the
Bowler's Page and check out the listing under BA or WBA Ybave.
This will give you an alphabetical listing of bowlers with
averages and I.D. numbers.
CALL THE
OFFICE immediately if you have a problem with your league or
have a question, we are there to help.
